Universal Pictures sudah mengumumkan jika Fast & Furious 7 secara resmi akan bertajuk Furious 7. Cukup sederhana tapi tepat sasaran, meski harus kehilangan kata "Fast". Kabar ini diketahui saat Universal merilis sebuah banner yang memperlihatkan judul film.

Tidak hanya itu, Universal juga mengumumkan jika trailer Furious 7 akan dirilis pada tanggal 1 November mendatang. Dan itu akan tiba dalam beberapa hari lagi. Isn't it excited?

Furious 7 menandakan sebagai film terakhir Paul Walker yang tewas akibat kecelakaan mobil di akhir tahun lalu, disaat produksi film masih berlangsung. Tragedi ini menyebabkan penundaan produksi dan memaksa Universal untuk menangguhkan penayangan film sampai tahun 2015 mendatang.

Furious 7 disutradarai oleh James Wan (Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring), menggantikan Justin Lin yang sudah menggarap empat film terakhir dari franchise ini. Furious 7 menandakan juga sebagai film pertama yang akan menghadirkan jalan cerita sesudah Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006).
