Setelah Golden Globes mengumumkan pemenang Minggu malam lalu dengan "The Social Network" sebagai Film Terbaik, ajang yang paling ditunggu lainnya tentu saja 83rd Annual Academy Awards (Oscar) dengan Anne Hathaway dan James Franco sebagai pembawa acara. Namun sebelum itu, ada ajang penghargaan lain, yaitu 64th Annual BAFTAs (British Academy of Film and Television Arts), yang akan memulai lebih dahulu dan telah mengumumkan nominasi mereka kemarin.
