The Broadcast Film Critics Association and Broadcast Television Journalists Association telah mengungkap daftar nominasi untuk Critics' Choice Awards 2018.

Untuk kategori film, film terbaru Guilermo del Toro, The Shape of Water, sukses unggul memimpin nominasi dengan mendapatkan 14 tempat. Film sci-fi-horor-drama ini mengisi beberapa kategori utama, seperti Best Picture, Director dan Best Original Screenplay untuk Guilermo del Toro, Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design dan Best Visual Effects. 

Aktris utama The Shape of Water, Sally Hawkins, juga mendapatkan nominasi di kategori Best Actress, yang menandakan kali kedua ia mendapatkan perhatian di ajang penghargaan besar tahun ini setelah memenangkan Best Actress untuk film yang sama di ajang Los Angeles Film Critics Association. Aktor pemeran pendukung film, Octavia Spencer dan Richard Jenkins juga masing-masing mendapatkan nominasi.

 Menyusul di belakang The Shape of Water, dengan masing-masing mendapatkan 8 nominasi, adalah film arahan Luca Guadagnino, Call Me by Your Name, Lady Bird karya Greta Gerwig, The Post karya Steven Spielberg dan Dunkirk karya Christopher Nolan. 

Film-film tadi masuk dalam kategori Best Picture bersama The Shape of Water dan juga The Big Sick, Darkest Hour, The Florida Project, Get Out dan Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. 

Untuk kategori Best Actor, bintang Call Me by Your Name, Timothee Chalamet akan berkompetisi melawan James Franco (The Disaster Artist), Jake Gyllenhaal (Stronger), Tom Hanks (The Post), Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out), Daniel Day-Lewis (Phantom Thread) dan Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour). 

Sementara itu, di kategori Best Actress Sally Hawkins akan berhadapan dengan of Jessica Chastain (Molly's Game), Frances McDormand (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Margot Robbie (I, Tonya), Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird) dan Meryl Streep (The Post).

Para pemenang, termasuk untuk kategori televisi, akan diumumkan dalam sebuah acara yang akan berlangsung pada Kamis, 11 Januari 2018. Hanya empat hari sebelum Golden Globes.
